Crossing Over - Broken Frisco Pier Cape Hatteras Outer Banks Nc

  • Title: Crossing Over - Broken Frisco Pier Cape Hatteras Outer Banks Nc
  • State/Province/Region: North Carolina
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Outer Banks
  • Nearest Town: Frisco NC
  • Brief Directions: Only 1 road into Frisco NC, simply head to the beach ;-)
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: The broken Frisco fishing pier at Cape Hatteras National Seashore along the Outer Banks NC. This evening didn't offer too much in the way of sky at sunset, but the full moon rising over the broken pier made for a wonderful minimalist shot I thought. I don't do minimalism very often but this peaceful landscape scene seemed to be begging for it. Click the image to view it large! Hope you enjoy it, comments welcome! ;-)

Thank you kindly Laura! It's an area I really enjoy photographing called "Rim Of The World"! I enjoyed your gallery also, with the beautiful images of La Jolla Reefs/North County~ Love that area!!!

Thanks Alena and David! I took a lot of shots of this landscape, but placing a person in the shot imparted the sense of amazement and exhilaration I was trying to capture. Merry Christmas!
