Foggy Morning At Ecola Point

  • Title: Foggy Morning At Ecola Point
  • State/Province/Region: Oregon
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Town: Cannon Beach, Oregon
  • Notes: b&w, cannon beach, coast, ecola point, nature and landscapes, oregon
  • Description: I pulled myself up from the bed at about 5:15 AM and headed to Ecola point hoping for a kaleidoscopic sunrise. Instead, I was faced with overcast sky, thick fog, and dense clouds. I had a choice to make - come back another day hoping to make the image in my mind or make one then that conveyed the tranquil, calm and somber mood of the morning. I made the later choice.

Thanks Laura!! I walked into this little slot canyon till it was completely dark and thought I'd sort of found nothing much…then turned around and saw THIS. I was gem for sure.

Wow, just beautiful! The light is perfect and I love the curve of the tree and the lines of the canyon wall.
