Memories

  • Title: Memories
  • State/Province/Region: Oregon
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Wallowa-Whitman National Forest
  • Nearest Town: Lostine
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: Mirror Lake in the Eagle Caps of the Wallowa mountains offers some of the most spectacular scenery I have ever seen in Oregon. There is no easy way to get here. Throw on a 41 pound backpack and climb 2000 feet over 7 miles, then set up camp and enjoy the views. I used my NDF reverse grad filter to help balance the image exposure by aligning the graduation at the water line. This worked perfectly to balance both the sky and the reflection of the mountain on the lake
