Home Sweet Home

  • Title: Home Sweet Home
  • State/Province/Region: Oregon
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: John Day Fossil Beds
  • Nearest Town: Dayville
  • Brief Directions: An outlook road off Hwy 26 inbtween Mitchell and Dayville.
  • Description: My husband and I took an outlook road to view some of the John Day Fossil Beds. I saw this shack and made him pull over so that I could jump out and photograph it. It was sitting there all by itself and it made my mind wander to when it might have been built and I imagined how long it might have been there. The possibilities as to the history of this shack seemed endless.
