Streaking Fire Sparks

  • Title: Streaking Fire Sparks
  • State/Province/Region: Pennsylvania
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Poe Paddy State Park
  • Nearest Town: Coburn
  • Description: I love a good campfire. It is almost as if the fire is alive as it seems to actually pulsate like a heart beat. This night I was experimenting with photographing different aspects of the fire. This shot was a long exposure to capture the streaking sparks through the black night sky. Shaking the fire to stir up the sparks right before the shot helped to create the multitude of streaky orange lines.
