Adams Falls - Ricketts Glen State Park

  • Title: Adams Falls - Ricketts Glen State Park
  • State/Province/Region: Pennsylvania
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Town: Red Rock
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: Adams Falls is one of my favorite waterfalls, which you can tell when looking at my gallery. While I do try to photograph it from different angles, it tends to be a hard waterfall to shoot. There is a small ledge that you can see near the bottom of the frame, but it's so low it doesn't show off the beautiful maple leaf shaped rock formation int he foreground as well as from above. In the end I almost invariable favor this view as it provides the best vantage point to let Adams Falls shine.

Thank you kindly Laura! It's an area I really enjoy photographing called "Rim Of The World"! I enjoyed your gallery also, with the beautiful images of La Jolla Reefs/North County~ Love that area!!!

Thanks Alena and David! I took a lot of shots of this landscape, but placing a person in the shot imparted the sense of amazement and exhilaration I was trying to capture. Merry Christmas!
