Clingman's Dome Fog

  • Title: Clingman's Dome Fog
  • State/Province/Region: Tennessee
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Great Smoky Mountains National Park
  • Notes: I had gone up to Clingman's Dome hoping to watch a storm roll in, but it's so high that the clouds were already on top of it. When I got to the observation tower I found a still, quiet world where there was absolutely nothing to worry about, and I spent well over an hour meditating on the fog and the few birds singing. The really amazing thing was the other people who came up saying there was nothing to see.
