Brief Directions: One may access this area most easily by boat. Make your way to Port Arthur and find your spot. I shot this one from a boat. There are places that you can get these shots from the shore.
Notes: I shot this handheld with an 80-400mm lens with vibration reduction. If it were not for this feature this shot would not have been possible.

Description: This is a sunrise over Sabine Lake which separates Texas and Louisiana. This is a jumping off point for many coastal destinations in this area. Great locations for birders, fishermen and the occasional photographer. If you happen to be passing through or staying nearby, try catching a sunrise from the waterfront in Port Arthur.
