- Description: On entry on the road to Canyonlands N.P., there is a turn off to Dead Horse Point State Park. It is pleasant short drive, and, in my opinion, the view rivals the Grand Canyon for drama and beauty.
- Brief Directions: From Moab, take Rt. 191 north a few miles to the Canyonlands turn off (Rt. 313) and proceed to the road to Dead Horse Point S.P.
- Best Season: Spring
