Description: Perhaps my favorite hike that I have ever been on was the hike to "The Subway" in Zion National Park. After dropping down several hundred feet between red rock canyons I hiked 5 miles upstream until the canyon walls come so close that they create this subway station like room. Several other photographers had arrived and we took turns capturing the beautiful pools inside the subway station. I waited for the light to glow off the back walls and used a long exposure to capture the swirling motion of the leaves in the pool of water.
