  • Brief Directions: Take the Zion shuttle to the Temple of Sinawava stop, then hike first the River trail, then in the river itself. The image was taken just around where Orderville Canyon joins the Virgin River.

  • Description: This is the Narrows of the Virgin River. The previous day's flashflood made the water murky, which produced this unusual color of the water reflecting the light of the canyon wall and the sky.

    I like this image. Nice composition that leades you up the river. Nice color but not to oversaturated. Crisp and clear. Nice job.
