Delicate In The Darkness

  • Title: Delicate In The Darkness
  • State/Province/Region: Utah
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Arches National Park
  • Nearest Town: Moab
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: At the beginning of May 2008 I stayed for three days at Arches. I had known before that there wouldn't be Moon at night. So I planned to make a photo of Delicate Arche in complete darkness using lightpainting technique. This a result of cooperation of three persons: my friend, one fellow from Albuquerque and me.

Thank you kindly Laura! It's an area I really enjoy photographing called "Rim Of The World"! I enjoyed your gallery also, with the beautiful images of La Jolla Reefs/North County~ Love that area!!!

Thanks Alena and David! I took a lot of shots of this landscape, but placing a person in the shot imparted the sense of amazement and exhilaration I was trying to capture. Merry Christmas!
