  • Brief Directions: From Salt Lake City. I 215 East side Exit #6 (6200 South) Head south to Hwy 190 which will take you to Hwy 210. Head east into Little Cottonwood Canyon approx. 9 miles until it ends.
  • Notes: In July and August the wildflowers can be incredibly thick. There is a healthy moose population and they're use to people which makes for great photo opportunities. Sunsets can be great but early mornings will be less crowded. More moose visible in the A.M.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Gear: Tripod, hiking boots, rain gear (summer thunderstorms are common
