  • Title: Elephant Butte
  • State/Province/Region: Utah
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Glenn Canyon
  • Nearest Town: Mexican Hat
  • Brief Directions: From I15 just North of St. Georgr take Highway 9 East to Kanab. Take 89 East to Page Arizona. From there take 98 East to 160 North to Kayenta. Take 163 North in to Monument Valley. Monument Valley is in Arizona and Utah.
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Description: The geological formations provide us a new perspective as to our place in the time space continuum. Invest some time here on the land with a sense of curiousity. For me a sense of discomfort and slight foolishness was evoked in regards to my life and what I hold as important. Art and Nature are a portal to freedom. We must preserve and protect both.
