  • Brief Directions: The Subway is located in the Left Fork of North Creek. Permits are required through the back country office at Zion National Park. The trailhead is located on the road to the Kolob Reservoir
  • Notes: This is a 9 mile strenuous hike. At least 2 liters of water are required. Layered cloting is essential. There are numerous places along the creek to capture images on the way to the Subway. The Subway is a slot canyon that is "tubular" in shape. Archangel Cascades just below the Subway offers numerous photographic opportunities.
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Gear: Wide Angle lens, sturdy waterproof hiking shoes
