  • Description: Following an evening of violent August thunderstorms, the weather cooled a bit and summer fog filled the valleys by the next morning. I hiked to the top of Mt. Tom before sunrise to catch the rising sun burn through the fog above the town of Woodstock, Vermont.

    Thanks Laura!! I walked into this little slot canyon till it was completely dark and thought I'd sort of found nothing much…then turned around and saw THIS. I was gem for sure.

    Wow, just beautiful! The light is perfect and I love the curve of the tree and the lines of the canyon wall.
