The Lonely Sail

  • Title: The Lonely Sail
  • State/Province/Region: Washington
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Town: Seattle
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: We were going as a family whale watching when the boat'e engine broke down. We were put on another vessel to visit Vancouver. On the wat there in the middle of Puget Sound, on a day where the temperature was about 50 degrees and freezing on trhe water, I saw this sailboat slowly making its way through the sound. I jumped on deck, took the shot and went back in. Frozen but happy with the outcome.

Thanks Laura!! I walked into this little slot canyon till it was completely dark and thought I'd sort of found nothing much…then turned around and saw THIS. I was gem for sure.

Wow, just beautiful! The light is perfect and I love the curve of the tree and the lines of the canyon wall.
