Sol Duc Solitude

  • Title: Sol Duc Solitude
  • State/Province/Region: Washington
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Olympic National Forest
  • Nearest Town: Port Angeles
  • Description: My favorite place is in the Olympic Mountains called Sol Duc. The quiet forest is filled with giant trees, mossy understory, bright greens of the vine maples and red huck, and streams that bounce across rocks on its journey to the Sol Duc river. I can lose all sense of time once I enter its spell.
