  • Brief Directions: Mount Shuksan is the most photographed mountain in Washington, and perhaps the USA. Summer and Fall are excellent time for photography, but winter brings extra opportunities because of the abundance of snow.
  • Notes: The best pictures are taken on a clear day following a snow storm. The sky is blue and the trees have a fresh coat of snow.
  • Best Season: Winter
  • Gear: Snowshoes or skis and wide angle lens
