Mt Adams From Takhlakh Lake

  • Title: Mt Adams From Takhlakh Lake
  • State/Province/Region: Washington
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Gifford Pinchot Forest
  • Nearest Town: Randle
  • Brief Directions: Located about 30 miles southeast of Randle, WA
  • Notes: I converted the photo to black and white so more attention would be paid to the details of the tree as well as the mountain.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: My favorite photography teacher told me that to be a good outdoor photographer requires a lot of patience at times. I waited for more than 3 hrs for the clouds to clear to take this shot at Mt Adams. It was well worth the wait.

Holly Molly that is just beautiful. That needs to be on the cover of OP magazine. Probably the most awesome image I have seen on here to date.

Beautiful shot Alena, especially like the one flower that stands above the others.
