  • Brief Directions: Penn Cove is located in the bay by the city of Coupeville, Washington. Coupeville is about 30 miles from the Clinton ferry on the south end of Whidbey Island. Whidbey Island is in Puget Sound about 35 miles from Seattle.

  • Description: Photo taken November 4 2009 about 6:45 A.M. Camera was a Canon 50D with 18-200 Canon lens. Early morning on my way to work I always try to time the sunrise on the bay. Threr are many locations on Penn Cove from which to shot. As the seasons change on the bay you get a different perspective. The sun moves up and down the bay for many lighting opportunities.
