Description: First light in this area will usually produce some early moring mist, which is always a fun thing. I climbed to the top of a hill to be able to shoot down on this area, as the sky was very dull and did not add anything to the image. It was all about the mist and color.
Gear: Nikon D300, Nikon 18-200 lens, Singh-ray warming polarizer, Gitzo tripod, Arca Swiss Ballhead

whoa........... Gorgeous portrait. I've never seen a reddish egret. I'm about to move to Lakeland, FLA. this Summer. I hope to see one of these beauties first hand. So sad to know this one cannot...
