Description: Designed to carry cars,trucks and pedestrian traffic over the entrance to Duluth Harbor. The aerial lift bridge was a solution to the problem of getting people and goods from Duluth to Minnesota point while allowing huge ships and other boat traffic to also pass through the same patch of space.
