  • Title: Yellowstone National Park In Winter
  • State/Province/Region: Wyoming
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Yellowstone National Park

  • Brief Directions: My husband and I took a snowcat from West Yellowstone to the Old Faithful Snow Lodge where we spent several nights. We spent our days backcountry skiing around the geysers and we thrilled to frosty bison as well.
  • Best Season: Winter
  • Description: Skiing around the geysers and bison of Yellowstone in winter was like being on another planet. It is no doubt an experience I will always remember, one I will never forget. I've been to Yellowstone in all the seasons--winter is definitely the best!

Wow, this is just spectacular, and reading the backstory makes it even more so. I hope I see this in a double spread!
