  • Title: Canada Geese Bask In The Morning Sun At Oxbow Bend
  • State/Province/Region: Wyoming
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Grand Teton National Park
  • Nearest Town: Moran
  • Brief Directions: Oxbow Bend is just past the Moran, WY entrance to Grand Teton National Park.
  • Notes: Image taken during a Mountain Light workshop led by Jack Dykinga and Jerry Dodrill.
  • GPS Longitude: -110.5
  • GPS Latitude: 43.8
  • Best Season: Autumn
  • Description: Canada Geese bask in the morning sun at Oxbow Bend near Moran, WY. Several geese were loitering in the sun and I was set up to shoot a panorama when they started to move, so I followed them across the scene, shooting as they went, then assembled the image following George Lepp's excellent guidance on Action-Sequence panoramas in OP.

Very nice set of "Arches" Stephen. Wasn't sure, but thought someone said one of the famous landmarks fell? Really enjoyed the "Double Windows" when there!
