  • Brief Directions: Take Highway 14 out of Greybull about 15 miles to a pull out. You can start taking photos actually just a couple of miles out all of the way to the canyon and all of the way up it to Burgess Junction on top of the mountain.
  • Notes: One of the most beautiful little known areas of northwestern Wyoming.
  • Best Season: Winter
  • Description: I was taking sunset photos of the "W" on the west slope of the Big Horn Mountains near Shell canyon when this deer walked out onto a flat and appeared to be taking in the scenery.
