  • Brief Directions: From Rock Springs, Wyoming take US 191 North to State Highway 28. Turn east on SH 28 and proceed to Farson/Big Sandy RD and go north to the Big Sandy.
  • Notes: I took these images on a backpack trip to the Cirque of the Towers. The best time to take pictures is in the morning and evening. The light is absolutely magical at those times!!!! Also bring your fly rod, there is great fishing!!!
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Gear: Tripod and wide angle lens.

    Thanks Laura!! I walked into this little slot canyon till it was completely dark and thought I'd sort of found nothing much…then turned around and saw THIS. I was gem for sure.

    Wow, just beautiful! The light is perfect and I love the curve of the tree and the lines of the canyon wall.
