I was staying in Forks, Washington so I started out going west on C St SW toward S Forks Ave/US-101 N/US 101 S. Take your first right onto S Forks Ave/US-101 N for 12.5 miles. Continue to follow US-101 N for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto WA-113/Burnt Mtn. Rd. for about 10 miles where WA-113/Burnt Mtn Rd becomes WA-112. Stay straight to go Bayview Avenue for about .5 miles until you reach the parking lot for Cape Flattery. There is some parking for RV's and outdoor toilets. It's a short 1.2 mile trail most of which is boardwalk to the point. There are a total of four lookout views with equally beautiful scenes.
Best at sunset for photographs although the Cape Flattery Lighthouse which is on Tatoosh Island is almost shooting straight into the sunset. I found my 24-70mm lens most useful.
Looking south at Cape Flattery in the Olympic Peninsula, the most northwestern point in all the contiguous United States.
