a typical Sunday in Ireland - rain and sunshine changing almost every minute. I drove down to Carlingford to get some shots of the famous Mourne Mountains (famous for playing an active part in Game of Thrones), starting with splendid sunshine in Dublin and sweating to death in the car... but only for a short while as torrential rain was never far away. Arriving in Carlingford was met by disappointment. Mountains? Yeah sure, somewhere under the dramatically thick layers of fog! Slowly but steadily though, the clouds broke open, the fog vanished and eventually set free the natural beauty of the Carlingford Lough. This shot was taken during this process.
