Description
A Great Egret in flight against the backdrop of the fall colors of the pickleweed at California's San Elijo Lagoon. The shot was taken with a Nikon D750 with a Nikkor 300mm f/4 lens and Nikkor 1.4x teleconverter attached. The camera settings were ISO 400, f/8 at 1/2500 seconds. The shot was taken hand-held. Post-processing was performed in Aperture and Lightroom 6.
