Brief Directions
Exit 20 off of I-40 in North Carolina then take the first R (route 276) and follow the road into the valley. It is a very windy, curvy road and turns into a dirt road at about the Great Smoky Mountains National Park boundary.
Notes
Early morning and late afternoon evening are the best time to go.
Description
This bull elk strutted up and down the field this morning to keep his harem in the field. The colors were really gorgeous in the valley.
