Conway Summit After a Storm

The view from Conway Summit. I almost missed seeing this. A storm with 60 mph wind gusts blew through overnight so I wasn't expecting any leaves to be left, especially here on the open hills. My husband flew up to join me in the Eastern Sierra and he really wanted to hike, so he convinced me to go up to Lee Vining. Once there I had to go up the hill to see if any leaves were left, and this is what I saw. I had to promise him that if he stopped and let me shoot without complaining, he could drink as much beer as he wanted that night and I wouldn't say anything. Compromise can have beautiful results! ;)
