Fall Aspens at McGee Creek

Fall in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains is stunning. At the time of this photo, it was still fairly early in the season and the colors were mainly yellow. This particular spot is a beautiful canyon called McGee Creek just off of Route 395 a few miles south of Mammoth Mountain. Our family has often vacationed in the area, almost always in the fall. I chose to submit this photo because it seemed to be the best one to show some of the glorious colors of fall we all look forward to each year.
