Touring Iceland the week before autumn we experienced mostly cloudy days with off and on rain. Fortunately, we encountered our best weather days in Northern Iceland. Few trees are found in Iceland and those are mostly of the evergreen type. But Iceland was not lacking in spectacular fall colors. One just has to cast a downward gaze to see the beautiful colors in the tundra vegetation.
