I photographed this in Arches National Park this past spring. I went out to shoot star trails, and thought skyline arch would make a good image against the sky. I exposed the foreground at 3200 ISO, 24mm, f/2.8 for 124 seconds. The star trails are 90 stacked images shot at 1600 ISO, 24mm, f/2.8 for 30 seconds each and then I blended the foreground in. I like how the image turned out, and how it shows that stars have a colorful spectrum, they are not all white! On a humerous note, I didn't have my intravolometer with me (totally forgot!) so I had to use my cable shutter release and click every 30 seconds for 90 images. It kept me busy and I will not forget it again!
