This photo proved more difficult to photograph than I had anticipated. I scouted the location during the daytime but when I returned at night I was shocked to see street lights from a nearby farm behind me, down the street and strong light pollution in the sky. My original location I thought I would shoot from was unusable so I had to improvise. I realized that I could use the light pollution from the city in another state to back light the barn. However, a street light down the street to the right was washing out the scene. I was finally able to position myself so that the street light was hidden behind the tree on the right and the light pollution was somewhat behind the barn. I had just enough room left in the frame to get the barn on the left and the tree on the right within the frame. The street light behind me? It provided just the right amount of light to illuminate the fence in the foreground and the barn.
