Description

The moonbow at Yosemite Falls happens when there is a full moon and sufficient snowmelt runoff to create a lot of mist and spray. I opened up the aperture to 2.8 and upped the ISO to 800 because we were standing in the spray and needed a relatively fast shutter so the condensation would build on the lens. A 15 second exposure brings out the color of the Lunar Rainbow and captured the Big Dipper above.
