Description

Jet planes passing well above 14,110 foot high Pikes Peak often leave thin condensation trails. When the upper winds are right these trails disperse into a more cloud-like pattern. March is often the month when this is most likely to occur. I made this image in March, 2013 from the bottom of an arroyo with a strong foreground (yuccas) and using the contrails as "exiting lines" emanating from the snowy Peak.
