I was in Yosemite in late winter camping at Camp 4. The campers next to me where planning to make the accent up El Capitan the next day. It was still real cold in the valley at night, let alone two thousand feet up on the side of a cliff. They described the route they were going up. I took shots of them as they started up the next day. They where one of the first groups of the year to make the ascent. It made it easier to tell who’s camp light it was on the face of El Captain at twilight.
