East of Twin Falls about 2 miles.
There are many such places along the gorge and it takes some scouting at different times of the seasons to find great places, if you like this sort of landscapes.
This was taken November 2016 from a perch I found off the trail that runs along the gorge just west of the Shoshone Falls Park. It's a half mile walk from my house and about the same from the park. The best time of day to capture this scene was 9:30 am as the sun doesn’t light up the colors until then because of the shadows. The waterfall is one of many all along the gorge and most are springs which burst out of the gorge walls. The Gorge depth at this location is about 500 feet.
