I was photographing calypso orchids aka fairy slippers with my 100mm macro lens and frustrated because image after image were basically boring repeats. As I explored the area, near Cooke City, I came across two specimens that were at my eye level. The perspective was unique affording me a view of the tiny flowers that I have never seen. My image portrays the perspective that I had that day and has opened my eyes to a whole new world of possibilities.
