Motivation for photos can come from unexpected places. When my husband, who has a real estate company, listed a home on Bull Shoals Lake, I went along for the ride. The view took my breath away. "You should see it at sunrise", the homeowner told me. I made arrangements to come the next morning. Things looked different in the predawn dark, and I overshot the road. By the time I noticed my mistake, I feared I’d miss the sunrise. Turning around, I raced back and got to the house with plenty of time to set up my tripod and camera and click away. This shot, just as the sun was breaking the horizon, was my favorite.
