Description

They say many people can photograph the same scene / subject but no two with create the same image. This image was created in Grand Tetons National Park on a Fall morning. I was attending a photography workshop in Jackson Hole with approx 15 fellow photogs, and our first shoot was at String Lake. Shortly after capturing the morning sun light the mountains surrounding the lake with the group I changed focus and lenses. I opted for a long lens to compress the scene of evergreens reflecting on the water and focused on piece of driftwood which seemed to float in the water, creating a painterly image.
