In recent years, Whitewater Canyon has been parched and its prevailing colors have been a mix of dull browns and greens. This spring has been a different story. Substantial rain and snow in the San Bernardino Mountains have replenished the Canyon. The cliffs overhead have been washed clean and Wooly Daisy and Goldfield plants have injected beautiful contrasting colors. It's a great place to hike and photograph.
