South of Shoshoni, Wyoming on Muskrat road about 5 miles.
To capture detail in the moon I combined 7 bracketed images in 1 stop increments with the 8th image purposely overexposed by 1 stop to brighten the moon. Then, I combined all images in layers as Smart Object processed in Stack Mode Mean and processed in Camera Raw for finer detail with both the moon and sun rays. There is a star in the lower left of frame.
I had read during a solar eclipse that Earth reflects sunlight back to moon. Dang, Earth does reflect sunlight on the moon.
