About an hour south of Spokane, Washington
I used a Canon 16-36mm 2.8 L, Canon 6D, Tripod, cable release, mirror lock up, shoe mount level.
This picture was taken on Steptoe Butte, Washington. This was an early morning shot. I needed to go buy the area that day so I made an effort to pull myself up and break camp in the middle of the night. I arrived soon enough to go up and down the cork screw road to the top of the butte and pick my location. I wanted some foreground elements for the picture. I set up and waited for the sun to break. It didn’t take long before I started sooting. This is one of several panos I took that morning. As always, the photographers dilemma, which picture is better or worse then the other.
