This picture was taken outside Ennis, Montana. My sunrise photography objectives didn’t spur this subject, the light did. I took advantage of the light as it presented itself. A light rain just passed through providing saturation of color and feeling of texture. The wood planks create nice visual leading lines. The calm wind allowed for good reflections.
This panorama is made up of several portrait style/ vertical pictures. I try to always create vertical panoramas. Vertical images bring the ground up and the sky down, in a visual sense. It also allows for more leeway in post.
