It was windy and cold at the end of this day.
I chose this location near the lake because I heard in a local radio station that the snow storm was coming from Yosemite to the east. This forecast is almost perfect all the time, I can tell based on my 4 year experience at Eastern Sierra. Two hours after sunset snow started falling.
It was the cusp of winter and fall - I was struggling with the wind, especially with the extra weight added from my tripod.. the wind created waves on the lake.
It was a fantastic show of legendary Eastern Sierra light, wind, and the fall; I will always remember.
