My very first aurora photo....our first night in Iceland, we were treated to an aurora display over Kirkjufell, a green ribbon like arc dancing across the sky. In the dark, frigid night, my eye could detect the bright green, but the purple tones my camera picked up when taking a long exposure was an unexpected surprise. As the night went on, the aurora got brighter, but the wind kicked up affecting the reflections in the reflection pool.
I liked the curve of the shoreline mimicking the light display in the sky.
