Grand Teton National Park is an iconic location because of its jagged, namesake range, the Teton Range. From the east shore of Jackson Lake, one can view much of the range stretching across the western horizon. If one is lucky, conditions will be calm enough on the lake to see the range reflected in its waters. This was such an occasion, with the added bonus of mountain wave clouds (a.k.a. lenticular clouds) stretching across the sky, adding a surreal feeling to the scene.
